Rowdy's Math Rodeo

Rowdy's Math Rodeo is a pop-up mathematics exhibition designed to introduce K-12 students to research-level mathematics concepts in a fun and interactive way. Students learn about a wide range of mathematics fields - Discrete Math, Analysis, Algebra, Geometry & Topology, Applied Math & Statistics, and Set Theory & Logic - through play. The exhibit is run entirely by McNeese DMS faculty and CoSEM student volunteers.

LA Region V Science Fair | February 13, 2025

Our first-ever Rodeo featured origami fidget toys and models, The Bridges of Konigsberg, The Genius Star (a spatial reasoning board game), Brain Teasers, and Combinatorial Designs. Over 160 local students in grades 4-12 participated in this year's regional science fair.

Thank you to our volunteers!
